Each school will have the opportunity to customize an outdoor education program that conforms to their school’s overall objectives and goals. This is possible because of the tremendous variety of individual classes and programs offered by Nature’s Classroom.

The Nature’s Classroom curriculum is based on a holistic program in which the students are exposed to trans-disciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching approaches using the outdoors as their learning laboratory. The teaching of relationships is key: environmental relationships, social relationships, how academics interrelate, and the ecological and economic relationships between humanity and nature.

Along with the curriculum, Nature’s Classroom also assures a non-violent, non-competitive and positive learning environment for everyone. With this combination of structure and atmosphere, the students further develop universal skills which are not discipline specific. Lifelong learning skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, ethics, valuing, and aesthetic appreciation will be practiced, explored, and developed at Nature’s Classroom.

"I'm going home with a great feeling.
I know the students had a great time. I did.
Teaching appreciation of nature, each other and respect
of environment is your strong point."
