Keynote speaker Rev. Kay Young |

Spiritual leader for the weekend will be Rev. Kay Young, Pastor of Faith UCC, Cincinnati, Ohio. Mother of 5 children, Kay grew up in rural Nebraska and Wyoming and has lived in Costa Rica for 5 years. She has a special interest in Social Justice and Arts in Ministry.
Education includes: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Performance and Education, U. of Wyoming and Michigan State U., respectively Master of Divinity, Lliff School of Theology, Denver, Colorado.
Background includes: Professional Musician (composer-performer, conductor, educator) Professional Actor/Director (musical comedy, drama, including Children’s theater) Workshops (spiritual direction, laughter and play, clergy renewal) Taize teacher and minister (Denver, Colorado, Redding and Los Altos, California) Keynote speaker (on Laughter and Play) Spiritual Direction workshops and retreats (alone and with partners, including The Rev. Jane Vennard, author and professor) |

This spring, representatives of the Southwest Ohio Northern Kentucky Association are handling the planning and programming for the entire event. This responsibility is rotated among participating Associations in the Ohio Conference. We hope you will invite a friend or more to share in the wonderful experience of Spring Lantern.
